While there are other ICFs that ship as a flat product, many of them require on-site assembly.

We developed our patented tri-fold design to make your job easier. Because CELBLOX ICFs can fold flat, you save money on shipping, you save space on your job site and you save time during construction.

CELBLOX web and ties are made from pure virgin polymer
While other ICF products use the lowest quality scrap regrind polymer for their web and ties, CELBLOX web and ties are made from the highest quality 100% pure virgin polymer.

Pure virgin polymer:
1) CELBLOX ICFs have much better fastener retention - about the same as a wood 2x4.*
2) Better fastener retention means that CELBLOX ICFs have the strength to hold cabinets.*
3) CELBLOX ICFs are an overall stronger ICF which virtually eliminates the chance of blowout.
*ICFHomes.com states that "Nearly every ICF system on the market today has a tie that accepts a course thread screw with a pull-out value that is acceptable for hanging sheetrock.  In most cases, we would suggest the use of embedded plates for hanging items such as kitchen cabinets.  Ask the manufacturers for the numbers and while you are at it, ask them for comparisons of their product to wood and metal frame.

Many ICF products are made with undersized webs and an inefficient tie system, which cause finishing problems and restrict cement flow during the pour. CELBLOX webs and ties are specifically engineered with strength and efficiency as top priorities.

1) CELBLOX ICFs have a full width web (1.5 inches) for easier application of siding and drywall.
2) CELBLOX ICFs have a web that runs the "full height" of the ICF.

Tax Rebates to Contractors
The recently passed national energy bill provides tax incentives for increasing the energy efficiency of new buildings.

- A $2.25 per square deduction for a commercial building owner that builds a 50% more energy efficient building.

- A $1,000 tax credit to a contractor that builds a home to have a level of annual heating and cooling that is at least 30% more energy efficient, with at least a third of that reduction due to a more efficient building "envelope"

- A $2,000 tax credit to a contractor that builds a home to have a level of annual heating and cooling that is at least 50% more energy efficient, with at least one-fifth of that due to more energy efficient walls.
